Ivanti has released Patch for Windows Servers v9.3. Shavlik Protect has been renamed Ivanti Patch for Windows Servers and retained sequential numbering for continuity. This release includes several new features including an application programming interface (API) for Powershell, folder paths in the navigation pane, enhanced staging for patch deployments, and much more. It also resolves several minor issues reported by our customers. For more details, please see the release notes.
Special Note: In addition to the product name change, the URL used to download new patch content has changed. The new location is content.ivanti.com and will be used by new and upgrading customers. Please make sure that your Ivanti Patch for Windows Servers 9.3 console can reach this URL. You may need to add and validate this change in your environment and with your firewall team.
Installation Notes: The Ivanti Patch for Windows Server console must be installed on one of the following 64-bit operating systems: Windows 7, 8.1, 10, Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2 or 2016 (excluding core or nano). Ivanti Patch for Windows Server requires access to a Microsoft SQL Server database (SQL Server 2008 (Full or Express Edition) or later). If you do not have a SQL Server database, the option to install SQL Server 2016 SP1 Express Edition will be provided during the installation process.

Ivanti provides a Migration Tool that is used to migrate your
existing Shavlik Protect console to a new machine. If you are currently running
Shavlik Protect on a 32-bit OS or on an OS that is older than Windows 7 or
Windows Server 2008 R2, you should migrate to a newer platform.
