This position is responsible for managing the company’s accounts receivable (AR) function, cash application, customer and sales support, primary billing backup, sales reporting and analysis – including sales tax and royalty reporting and participate in payables and departments projects.
Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable collections, monthly statements, management reporting.
- Maintain SKUs, price lists, tables, and customer account records in integrated CRM and accounting systems.
- Post and apply cash receipts
- Customer and sales team support for billing processes
- Primary Billing backup person in small team
- Sales reporting and analysis, including royalty and sales tax reporting
- Additional department projects, and backup - including accounts payable
- Participate in system improvement projects.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in accounting. Bachelors degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
- Ability to work efficiently in fast paced growth environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of software skills, and talent to learn and use new tools.

This position is responsible for driving Overall internet marketing strategy for organization with a strong emphasis on online community building and viral marketing tactics that transform www.shavlik.com into a destination web site for IT Pros.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, plan, coordinate, and execute overall internet marketing program strategy, including all lead generation programs and campaigns, community management, online advertising, pay-per-click advertising, email marketing and search engine marketing
- Community Creation and Management: Give people a place to engage with Shavlik. Gather feedback on products or ideas. Development and implementation of online campaigns with specific attention aimed at generating leads, ensuring conversion of traffic to online sales (and related success factors) or product trials, building the registered user database and overall effectiveness of online advertising and marketing efforts.
- Content Creation: Manage creation and/or production of IT.Shavlik website content; including promotional content, blog content, videos, webinars, testimonials, case studies, etc.
- Reporting: Monitor all campaign results (via web analytics and CRM), analyze key metrics, and optimize click-through and conversion rates.
- Manage relationships with advertising vendors and partners. Keep pace with emerging online trends to increase effectiveness of marketing and advertising programs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in journalism, marketing, web development, communications, English, IT, customer support, music, anthropology, history or related
- Has more than a few years of post-graduate professional work experience
- Has work experience or training in advertising, PR, online marketing or similar field
- Knowledge of search engine optimization-think including basic keyword research.
- 3+ years of internet marketing experience required. Must have a thorough understanding of modern web technologies and concepts including: social networking, collaborative filtering, recommendation engines, personalization, profiling, customer segmentation, search engine marketing, multivariate testing and conversion optimization.
- Hands on experience with campaign management as well as deployment and tracking of campaign metrics
- Experience managing complete conversion funnel from lead generation to revenue creation li>Highly analytical thinker needed with significant experience performing complex analysis using advanced MS Excel.
- Former journalist with experience writing on technology or IT topics highly desirable
